The project manager, Ryan Gibson, conceived using a confectionery-themed naming scheme for public releases, starting with Android 1.5 Cupcake. The code names "Astro Boy" and "Bender" were tagged internally on some of the early pre-1.0 milestone builds and were never used as the actual code names of the 1.0 and 1.1 releases of the OS. Android 1.0 and 1.1 were not released under specific code names. The first public release of Android 1.0 occurred with the release of the T-Mobile G1 (aka HTC Dream) in October 2008. Both the operating system itself and the SDK were released along with their source code, as free software under the Apache License. These releases were done through software emulation as physical devices did not exist to test the operating system. Several public beta versions of the SDK were released. The beta was released on November 5, 2007, while the software development kit (SDK) was released on November 12, 2007. There were at least two internal releases of the software inside Google and the Open Handset Alliance (OHA) before the beta version was released. The development of Android started in 2003 by Android, Inc., which was purchased by Google in 2005. ![]()

![]() After I started singing professionally, I travelled with a chaperone and a tutor at all times, since I was younger than Nona and Pat. Secondly, for a little girl of my age to want to be in the music industry was unheard of at that time, at least for the kind of parents that I had. Well, for one he was pentecostal-based, so yes. What was the foundation for that objection? Was it his religious background? Your dad objected early on to you singing with The Bluebelles. Veteran singer-songwriter Sarah Dash is perhaps best known as one-third of the groundbreaking 1970s group Labelle. In the ’90s, she created a one-woman show called “Dash Of Diva.” After reuniting with her old Labelle bandmates here and there over the years, the trio put out a new album called Back To Now in 2008.“I had to learn to let go of being afraid.” Having met Keith Richards back in the ’60s, she wound up going on tour with him in the late ’80s, which also led to her singing on the Stones’ 1989 album Steel Wheels. That album featured her disco hit “Sinner Man.”ĭash was also associated with the Rolling Stones. Eventually they disbanded in 1977, and Dash quickly pivoted to a solo career with her 1978 debut. The group had a hit with “Lady Marmalade,” and success through the mid-’70s. On January 6, prior to the rally, Guilfoyle and Don Jr. Wren told multiple organizers interviewed by ProPublica that she was carrying out the wishes of the Trump family. In late December, Wren became involved in the rally preparations for January 6. It gave $800,000 to the PAC in several installments, records show. That PAC was primarily funded by LJ Management Services Inc., a company closely linked to Fancelli’s family foundation. in which he encouraged Georgians to vote Republican in the bitterly contested runoff elections that would result in Democratic control of the Senate. The super PAC, called “Save the US Senate PAC,” placed ads starring Trump Jr. Splitting her time between Florida and Italy, Fancelli raised at least $72,000 from her friends and family.Īfter the election, Wren became the main fundraising consultant for a newly formed super PAC run by two of Trump Jr.’s closest aides. Fancelli, a reclusive member of one of the country’s richest families, was one of those volunteers, according to interviews and internal Trump Victory records. She brought Wren on as her deputy.… The pair focused primarily on ramping up the campaign’s “bundling” program, a method of fundraising that relies on volunteers collecting money from their personal networks. In January 2020, Guilfoyle was appointed national chair of the Trump Victory finance committee, a leading fundraising vehicle for Trump’s reelection campaign. Untangling the relationship between Guilfoyle, Wren, and Fancelli is key to understanding the financing of the events of January 6. But Guilfoyle herself has so far not received any official scrutiny from Congress. A House select committee investigating the events of January 6 has subpoenaed more than 30 Trump allies for testimony and documents, including Pierson and Caroline Wren, a former deputy to Guilfoyle. The attack on the Capitol that followed it left five dead and scores injured. Guilfoyle’s texts, reviewed by ProPublica, represent the strongest indication yet that members of the Trump family circle were directly involved in the financing and organization of the rally. In a series of text messages sent on January 4 to Katrina Pierson, the White House liaison to the event, Guilfoyle detailed her fundraising efforts and supported a push to get far-right speakers on the stage alongside Trump for the rally, which sought to overturn the election of President Joe Biden. Kimberly Guilfoyle, a top fundraiser for former president Donald Trump and the girlfriend of his son Donald Trump Jr., boasted to a GOP operative that she had raised $3 million for the rally that helped fuel the January 6 Capitol riot. ![]() ![]() tap control motion sensor hearing telecoil for better hearing in auditoriums and churches (P-RT model only)Īpproximately $1,500 to $4,000+ per hearing aid, depending on bundled services package price set by audiologist or other distributorĬompletely in Canal (CIC) / Invisible in Canal (IIC)ĭiscreet limits wind noise and feedback because microphone is deeper in the ear some models have a good IP ratingĪpproximately $1,500 to $4,000+ per hearing aid, depending on bundled services package price set by an audiologist or other distributors Rechargeable battery connects to Android and iOS devices and most modern Bluetooth devices. I feel for the booth selling wholesome, organic oatmeal. The line of folks waiting for their shot at a North Carolina heart-attack-on-a-plate is only mind-boggling given the location – a farmers market, filled with fresh produce. Pine State Biscuits may not make the gravy on-site - but get this - they DO bake the biscuits right there (and fry the chicken, the bacon and the eggs, too.) Let’s see, a biscuit topped with fried chicken, bacon, cheese and then covered in gravy? Outrageous - in a gotta-have-it way, though. It is, without a doubt, the most “real” biscuit sandwich ever to pass my lips and from there, land directly on my hips. Oh.Įven if the name is made up, there is nothing remotely fictional about the sandwich ($7, or $8 topped with an egg). Wes, an engaging character and clearly loving the adoring crowd, tells me Reggie is a fictitious name. I spotted the “Reggie” on the menu and asked Wes, the biscuit artist assembling the sandwiches, “Who’s Reggie?” It takes a deft hand (and soft flour) to make a really tender biscuit. Truth be told, a good buttermilk biscuit isn’t as easy to pull off as it sounds. I know this because I lived there for six years (it is also the birthplace of Krispy Kreme doughnuts). North Carolina fancies itself a bastion of southern-style biscuits. He pleads with me to follow him– all the way to the back of a snaking line of market goers chomping at the bit to get their hands on (and sink their teeth into) a hot, buttermilk biscuit. Wandering around the periphery of the market, lost in the sheer bounty of gooseberries, tri-colored carrots and fresh porcini and morel mushrooms - not to mention tiny-but-real Oregon truffles for $10 an ounce - I feel my husband tugging on my shirt sleeve and he won’t stop. The success of the biscuits at the farmers market prompted the guys to open a restaurant storefront a couple years later. It’s become something of a market phenomenon ever since three North Carolina college friends first set up at the market in 2006. It’s the Pine State Biscuits booth, tucked away in the center of the farmers market. Yeah, and guess which line is longest at the 130+ stall Saturday market? The organic, hot oatmeal booth? Huh? North Carolina biscuits? In Portland? The market is utopia to locals (and visitors) clamoring for farm-fresh, organic, sustainable produce, meats, cheeses, and of course, North Carolina biscuits. Bursting at the seams with booth after booth of fresh berries, summer vegetables and forest mushrooms, the Portland Farmers Market is an embarrassment of riches straight from local farms. ![]() ![]() ![]() No subscription required: The modded version of Spotify does not require users to pay for a premium subscription to access its features.ĭownloading the Spotify mod APK is easy.High-quality streaming: The modded version of Spotify allows users to stream high-quality music without any restrictions. The modded version not provides this feature.
